Kodaikanal
Tamil NaduPosted by Steph 2009-08-25 22:48:27I hate these narrow and winding roads on the hills, especially the ones without a proper guardrails where you feel the bus is going to come off the road anytime and fall down the hill. And so the route through the Western Ghats to Kodaikanal was terrible for me. But we reached Kodaikanal safely around 6pm...ouff. 
And this is where we stayed:
On Sunday we went to Coakers Walk from where you have a fantastic view on the mountains and the valley...
then we went to "suicide point", which is not only a great place to commit suicide but also an amazing point of view with a beautiful flower garden and lots of monkeys. But be careful of monkeys: they become quite violent when you try to tease them and take their sachet of peanuts away...yep, now i know.
Something is wrong with these two pictures...got it??
There is also a huge lake in Kodaikanal, but we've not seen much of it because it was raining cats and dogs on Sunday.
Sunday afternoon back to Chennai...
