KarnatakaPosted by Steph 2009-12-07 22:32:13Bangalore is only 5 hours from Chennai but i had never had the opportunity to go there before. Finally me and my colleague spent one week there on an exhibition for construction equipment from 23rd to 30th of Nov. Though we were quite busy from 8am to 9pm during 6 days, i managed to see a bit of Bangalore.
My favourite place: the Lalbagh Botanical Garden, a huge and beautiful garden located in the southern part of the city.
We came back to Chennai by train on the Shatabdi Express...and what a train! the seats are very spacious and confortable, food and beverages (included in the fare) are provided every half an hour, all coaches are airconditioned and fitted with power sockets. One-way ticket Bangalore-Chennai costs around 600Rs.
